Overview
Boutros is a cute neighborhood spot that opened 6 months ago as chef Allen Dabagh's first restaurant. The space is cozy enough for a casual dinner but would be comfortable enough for any occasion. Dabagh is a Brooklyn native who wanted to incorporate his Lebanese and Syrian background with new American cuisine. They do absolutely everything in house including fresh baking the bread and pastries. Food is rustic and approachable with some exciting surprises. Make a meal out of bulgar fried rice, octopus with black olives, or smoked halloumi. At brunch they offer a dish that I will crave with every hangover - croque madame pizza with ham, gruyere & egg yolk. You will find warm hospitality here and prices that are low enough to return several times monthly.
