Easily one of my favorite restaurants in NYC for years. Jeepney is laid back & super casual with a great hip hop soundtrack. The colorful bar is lively and there is a small hallway housing an open kitchen that separates the tiny dining room & patio out back. When I say casual I mean the walls are lined with tin and naked pinup girls. The food is Filipino and while you may never have had that, all the dishes are reminiscent of comfort food you wish you'd had growing up. You can make a meal out of the small plates like sisig tacos, banana ketchup ribs, and crispy pork fried rice. They also happen to have one of the best dishes in NYC - the pancit (rice noodles) with calamari, shrimp, crumbled tinapa, smoked tofu & chicaron. Every dish is like getting fucked in the mouth with flavor. Run don't walk
