Clinton St Baking Company - You will likely find a 2 hour wait here. They are classic American diner food, done exceptionally well. They recently got the space next door and expanded the space widely.

Dimes Eclectic, health-conscious Californian-style fare. The space is minimalist and they moved recently to a larger space to accommodate more people.

Russ & Daughter's Cafe - The restaurant version of the longtime LES appetizing shop. The grandchildren of the original owners opened this in 2015 and they serve dishes sourced from their famed store on Houston.

Shopsin's - This tiny storefront is in the Essex Street Market. There are 4 tables and a few bar seats. You will be astounded that out of the tiny kitchen, comes 100's of food options. The menu is eclectic, with mostly American fare
