hudson valley, ny

*Special thanks to the Premier Rewards Gold Card from American Express for sponsoring this trip and post. All opinions are my own.

The Hudson Valley is about a 2 hour drive from Manhattan but it feels like many blissful, charming worlds away. The quaint towns that spread out all over the valley from Cold Spring to Hudson are full of antique shopping, rustic lodging, and farm-to-table dining. The Infatuation in partnership with the Premier Rewards Gold Card from American Express recently released an awesome guide about where to eat & drink in the Hudson Valley, and working with American Express, I had the opportunity to try and taste some of the spots. Here’s a recap of my favorites.

The trip can be made even better if you pay with a Premier Rewards Gold Card from American Express as you can earn 2X Membership Rewards Points at US Restaurants & US gas stations (terms apply).*

Scribner's Catskill Lodge

Perched high on a hill surrounded by fields of grass and trees stands Scribner’s Catskill Lodge. Since 1966, this building has welcomed and warmed the spirits of adventurers seeking refuge from their daily lives and explorers looking for something new. In the summer, you’ll take a dip in water surrounded by mountains. In the winter, you’ll gather by the fire under the stars. The rooms, of which few are alike, have fireplaces and lofted beds. Downstairs, you’ll come together for an alpine dinner prepared just for you by the house chefs.
