Ortzi is a new(ish) all day restaurant in the LUMA Hotel from Chef Jose Garces. The space is sleek and sparsely decorated with a large bar and an open kitchen. The menu is inspired by the cuisine of the Basque Country. You will find many options in the way of tapas and also cazuelas, Spain’s traditional clay cooking vessels. The crudos & conservas section offers 9 varieties including tuna belly, cockles, mussels, and sea trout. If you're hankering for something a la plancha check out the blood sausage or Spanish prawns. As with all tapas places, the food is great for sharing and the space can accommodate a group.
