The space at 413 E 12th has been a bit cursed for restaurants but Zadie's may be the one to finally stick. The tiny tin ceilinged, rustic space features just a hand full of tables and a bar. The menu is also small but offers a lot in the way of creativity. Oysters are served 7 different ways including poached, broiled, fried, pickled, and of course raw. The baked version is particularly delicious with seaweed butter, egg, prosciutto and leeks. Other bites include a tuna melt and caesar salad. It's a cute neighborhood spot with an extremely affordable wine list.
