Out East is a new venture from long time restaurant vet Anthony Serignese. The stylish, modern space is a true departure from what you'll typically find in the East Village. It is larger than anything else in the neighborhood, spanning multiple dining rooms, two floors, and two bars. Every element from the wall paper, to the flooring and the lights have been meticulously choreographed to reflect coastal culture. Like the interior, the menu is inspired by the ingredients of coastal New York. They offer tons of raw bar and beach fare including fluke ceviche, clam pizza, and a massive seafood tower with maine lobster, oysters, shrimp cocktail, littleneck clam salad & uni. Large entrees include heartier food like roasted chicken with aji amarillo and steak frites. Great place for groups and affordable enough to return often.
