I love a West Village bistro. Even more so when they have an ample menu of seafood offerings. I present to you, Seabird. The recently opened space comes from the teams behind Mountain Bird and Mezetto. Inside the space you will find dark walnut wood, white marble, and navy paint which is somewhat reminiscent of being on a ship. The restaurant is casual and features indoor & outdoor seating as well as a large bar.

The menu is a wide array of seafood delights from all over the globe. You can find a shellfish tower, salmon poke, raw bar items & grilled octopus. The sandwich selection is vast and I’d recommend getting their crispy fish sandwich dressed in a malt vinegar slaw. They have a mac n’ cheese section, yes section, of the menu which makes me question why no one else was smart enough to come up with that. Try the crab mac n’ cheese and just melt into that bowl of heaven. Here’s what we had:
